Terms of Use

The plain-language fine print: keep your originals, no warranties, limits of liability, acceptable use.

Acceptance of Terms

By using TextForge you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the Tools Are — and Aren't

All tools provide standard transformations using published algorithms and browser APIs. Results depend on the input you provide. Limits are stated on each page: the diff checker handles up to 500 lines per text, Base64 is encoding rather than encryption, hashes are one-way functions, and sizing or parsing tools are only as good as their inputs.

No Warranties

The site and its tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Always keep your original text — transformations are real operations and no tool is perfect.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TextForge and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site — including data loss, security incidents, or decisions made in reliance on tool output.

Acceptable Use

Use the tools for lawful purposes only. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it aggressively, or use it in any way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

Intellectual Property

The site's design, text, and code are the property of TextForge. Tool results belong to you — we claim no rights over the text you process, because we never see it.

Changes

These terms may be updated on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
